Food was delicious, hot and delivery was quick but order was missing the naan bread.

Having driven past several times and liked the look of this restaurant we decided to order takeaway for collection via the website. A nice touch was the fact that they called us whilst we were en route to tell us the order was ready. We were greated with a big smile and the food was brought out promptly (with some little extras thrown in for us to try!) The food was excellent, nice crisp poppadoms, succulent meat and generous portions. We will certainly be back again to try different dishes from the extensive menu.

Whilst my previous review was not flattering towards 29 Spices it was always my intention to order food from there again as it is only fair to give a place another chance. The owner of the restaurant phoned me today to apologise for what had happened yesterday and I want to thank him publicly for that and also say publicly that this is what customer service is all about. As a result I ordered the same order as yesterday. It was delivered on time. The kolkati roll was the best 'wrap' I've ever eaten. The flavours were wonderful. The kachumber salad was completely different to what I had yesterday. Chunks of cucumber, tomato, carrot and red onion with coriander and spices. I ate every last bit of it, I absolutely loved it! The spicy chicken tikka starter is very subtle when it comes to the spice but what impressed me most, apart from the flavours, was how moist the chicken was. I can honestly say that every chicken tikka starter I've ever had was always on the dry side. This chicken tikka starter wasn't. Not only was it delicious but the portion size was big! I enjoyed the railway chicken curry yesterday and I enjoyed it today. Beautifully spiced and just about medium strength with a very pleasant after kick of spice. I again want to thank the owner for his phone call and can honestly say that 29 Spices is now my go to Indian takeaway and I look forward to when the restaurant opens properly again so I can book a table.
